What Do the New Batman v. Superman Set Pictures Reveal?
A lot of set pictures have been going around the internet from the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. We have seen pictures of Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, proving he will have gray sides, pictured below:
It's hard to see in this picture, but it's there
Now, a few more set pictures have been released, showing some of the supporting cast. At first, they don't seem like much but a closer look may reveal a lot.
This first one is of Tao Okamoto, and this pretty much confirms what role she was rumored to be. In the animated Superman series and the comics, Lex Luther (Jesse Eisenberg) had an assistant/body guard named Mercy Graves. A rumor came out a little while ago that Okamoto would be playing this role. Now, looking at her outfit, this rumor seems to be confirmed.

This next one is of Holly Hunter:
This set pic doesn't reveal much. Perhaps she is a Wayne Enterprises executive or board member. Who knows at this point. But I doubt that the movie would get an Oscar-winner like Hunter for a such a small role.
This last one is the big one. This is Scoot McNairy. The big thing about this picture is the green calves. This means that they plan to in post-production digitally alter his legs. This immediately rules him out of being just some guy. The most likely role he could be is Barry Allen/ The Flash. The green would be used to make him run super fast. After that, the other roles are a bit of a stretch. Some are saying he could be the Superman villain, robot Metallo, and the green would be used to add metallic legs.
This one is really stumping me. I would think that they would save any introduction to Flash for later, but perhaps we will be getting him in this movie. I think that if he was Metallo, there would be more metal on him than just his legs but at this point who knows. It's all speculation.
What do you think the set pics reveal? Will Scoot McNairy be the Flash? Metallo? Who is Holly Hunter playing? Leave your thoughts in the comments section.
