Deadpool- Trailer Preview

*Warning- Contains Language*

There were some pretty lucky bastards at San Diego Comic Con this year. They got to see the first trailer for my most anticipated film of 2016-- Deadpool. Unlike Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, the trailer was not released online after its exclusive Comic Con screening. Lead star Ryan Reynolds said shortly after that a trailer wouldn't be put online until a few weeks later, which is right about now. It was then announced that the trailer would premiere on the Conan show on Tuesday. We reported about that on this past weekend's Nerd Round-Up, which you can read here. And now, just a day before the trailer's official release, Fox has put out a trailer preview, and it's awesome.

I loved this teaser. I don't like it when a movie just shows a ten second amalgamation of the different shots we'll see in the trailer. It's just a waste for me. But this was different. They announced the trailer, with something that won't be in the trailer. In the short amount of time, they showed you everything you needed to know about this movie. It's self aware, with the joke about it being from the studio that sewed Deadpool's mouth closed. It's funny, from the joke about Ryan Reynolds to the pipe. And it's rated R, from the f-bomb dropped in the trailer. The preview perfectly set up what to expect from this movie, and I think the full trailer tomorrow is going to knock it out of the park!

What do you think? Did you like the trailer preview for Deadpool? Are you looking forward to the film? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
