First Full Trailer for Gone Girl

Today, the first full trailer for David Fincher's new film Gone Girl debuted online. The film centers in on Ben Affleck's character, who struggles with the immediate blame for the disappearance of his wife and the trials he must endure to prove his innocence... if he's truly innocent.

For a regular person, the trailer reveals way too much. "You practically see the whole movie!" is a common complaint. However, I read the book that Gone Girl is based on: the book of the same title by Gillian Flynn and from reading the book, this trailer does not reveal much at all. Let me leave it at that you will be in for a lot of surprises!

I have been a fan of Ben Affleck for a while. I am in the minority for liking Daredevil, I loved Argo and I am a supporter of his casting as Batman. His presence in the movie was my main motivation to not just want to see the movie but also to read the book. This movie has a great supporting cast (minus Tyler Perry, of course) and a great director. The last teaser trailer didn't reveal much so it didn't make me really that excited but with our first full trailer, this movie looks as if it will stick pretty close to the actual book, which would make sense since the author, Flynn, also wrote the script. This trailer does a lot to increase my enthusiasm for the movie.

What do you think? Did you read the book? Do you think Ben Affleck will be good in it? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
