The Walk- Trailer 2

The Walk is the true story of Philippe Petit, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who strung a single piece of wire across the Twin Towers in 1974 and walked it. It's an incredible true story, one that even got a documentary called Man on Wire. The first trailer for The Walk came out not too long ago. While I didn't write a review of it, I really liked it. I thought it perfectly captured the height of the towers and the suspense of walking across them. Watching this in IMAX is going to be incredible, and I thought for a first trailer, it was fantastic.

I really like this second trailer too. It gives us a little bit more of the story, which is set up like a heist film. It's a really cool angle to take the movie, in trying to make it like a stealth operation to hook up this wire without any of the security knowing. It adds another level of suspense to the film. I didn't really care for Gordon-Levitt's accent, but I'm sure I'll get used to it by the time I'm sitting in the theater watching this all unfold. I think The Walk could end up being a very suspenseful, cool and special film.
