SDCC 2016: First Trailer for Justice League

With the overwhelming disappointment in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, DC really had to get fans excited again for Justice League. Press were invited to a set visit a few weeks ago (you can read their findings here), and it seemed that the film was heading in the right direction. Director Zack Snyder said he heard fans complaints, and wanting to right Batman v. Superman's wrongs with Justice League. And with San Diego Comic Con this week, we were sure to get more information about the film. However, we got a lot more than just some information... we got a whole f*cking trailer!

This trailer is great! It's not as good for me as the Wonder Woman one (see that here), but it still is a very good trailer. The guitar riff playing throughout the trailer was great, and I really hope that encapsulates the tone of the film. I hope that it has that kind of fun energy, because that was something very much missing from Batman v. Superman. Ben Affleck looks great again as Bruce Wayne, and we get to see Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller in action as Aquaman and the Flash, respectively. It's clear they haven't shot a lot of the movie, as this trailer was just a handful of scenes put together. But even so, I thought it was well edited, and is a great teaser. I hope the fun atmosphere and the jokes are truly emblematic of the overall film, because it worked so well in this trailer. The footage looks great (even if Cyborg's CGI isn't entirely rendered), and I can't wait to see more from this film!

And make sure to check out the new still of the cast, pictured below:
